So quick update! 1) Apparently I am very unoriginal and other people do Pinterest Challenges. However, I like to think of myself as unique because I plan on doing this for a year, something I haven't seen yet. 2) I really want to incorporate inspiration from my actual life and friends to do this challenge. Inspired by my friend Andrea, whose blog Live Love Thrift is in my links below, has made me want to scour thrift stores to find materials to complete and make these projects! Why spend lots of money on things you're just going to be recreating anyway??? Isn't that the whole point of DIY? With this in mind, my thrifting buddy, Erin, is going to show me the ropes in Denver, and hopefully I can find some (cheap) treasures!
However, I still think I need an idea for something to do this week. I may resort to baking, or maybe I'll try something a bit more fun depending on the results of Friday's hunt!
