Hello my fellow DIY wannabes!
I may be one of the least crafty people I know. Sure I have some great ideas and can plan a party like no other, but when it comes to making these ideas come to life; I fall short. I have always wanted to be a Crafty McCrafterson, but when it comes to actually making something (unless it's related to baking), I tend to fall short. I either lose interest or I lose my attention span.
Then I found Pinterest.com; what may be the world's most addicting website for dreamers, crafters, and DIYers. I have never come across so many wonderfully brilliant ideas in my life! From the simple to complex; lovely to kinda ugly, this site truly has it all; because it's everyone's bookmark.
I have found so many great ideas for things I would like to do on this site, but I find myself starting to fall into my old ways. I want to change this. I want to ACTUALLY try to MAKE something I have thought was "Brilliant" or "Crafty" on this site. Hence the challenge. Over the next year, I want to find one "pin" a week and attempt to make or recreate that pin. I also want to document the process. I'll take pictures and link you all back to my pin, so you can experiment along with me. No more sitting on the sidelines; it's time to create!
